We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling payroll, bookkeeping, and audit-related tasks for certain EPAM subsidiaries in Latin America while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Responsibilities
Manage payroll processes for designated EPAM subsidiaries and perform standard payroll accounting and accruals in line with US GAAP
Analyze and reconcile payroll discrepancies across internal systems
Investigate complex payroll cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to exchange pertinent information
Address audit inquiries and participate in meetings with both external and internal auditors
Handle local audit tasks specifically related to payroll
Engage in regular activities aimed at process improvement alongside other teams, analyze areas for enhancement, and pilot new improvements
Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
Requirements
High economic education, specifically in Finance or Accounting
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Payroll Accountant, Senior Payroll Specialist, or Auditor, including payroll responsibilities
At least an intermediate level of English proficiency
Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
Experience with ERP systems, preferably including SAP
Background in company acquisitions
High personal responsibility and meticulous attention to detail
Competency in managing and processing information from diverse sources
Nice to have
Expertise in interpersonal and verbal/written communication
Willingness to work additional hours when necessary
Proven stress tolerance skills
Loyalty and a result-oriented approach, with a team player mentality
