SDET is a developer with the primary responsibility of developing frameworks and tools to test Mobile Native SDK products. It is a unique and challenging role providing immense opportunity to design and develop wide-reaching tools. You'll be writing test automation code that verifies the quality of the product.

Join the PayPal E2E Test Automation Team, with responsibilities for building test framework, tools, infrastructure, and tests for end-to-end checkout experience. Work on a complex ecosystem where the life cycle of a Checkout product needs to be tracked and validated across various components touching a wide range of technologies and teams, both within and outside of Checkout team.

Your way to impact

In this role you will bring your analytical abilities and desire to work with cross-functional teams and systems. You are a self-starter and able to learn on the go. You will develop and maintain automation script for testing and regression purposes.

Your day to day

• You will build and maintain mobile test automation for iOS or/and Android native app.
• You will contribute to developing and enhancing the automation framework as well as keeping it up to date with changes in functionality.
• You will be responsible for testing activities - planning, script design, test script generation/maintenance, report generation, result analysis, defect generation and following up for closure.
• Participate in team meetings to provide status updates and escalate issues as needed.

What do you need to bring

• Bachelor's degrees in computer science or a related field.
• Years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Strong experience testing on Android and iOS. Experience working with BrowserStack is a plus. Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Experience with test case creation, execution, and maintenance. Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
