Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with Validation Engineers and/or Emulation Engineers in the design, development and utilization of productivity enhancement tools and systems software.

This position will be part of the system validation team, responsible for developing SW for automation of validation collateral generation that will be used in pre- and post-Si validation environments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Development and integration of software in Python environments generating and debugging integration scripts to run software on validation logs.
• Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur and develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education judgements and formal software process.

Behavioral traits:

• Willing to analyze, resolve and communicate clearly with product validation and design engineers.
• Communication skills both in Spanish and English

This position provides a challenging opportunity in developing the next generation of technologies for automating the SOC validation as well as becoming familiar with SOC development and execution.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications,

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position:

• This position requires a BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical or Computer Engineering or related.
• 1+ year of experience in Python programming (Other programming languages can be C/C++ or Ruby).
• 1+ year of experience in UNIX/Linux.
• 1+ year working in debugging projects.
• 1+ year of experience in Intel Architecture.
• 1+ year of experience in computer architectures and interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications,

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:

• Engineering background in Software Development.
