Java Backend Developer

Eviden is seeking a Java Engineer to join our Risk development team. In this role you'll be working with partners in Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, and Product Management to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of software.

Qualification:

• 5-8 yrs of experienced Selenium Test Automation resource. Resource should be good in
• Programming experience in shared codebase: source control, unit testing, continuous integration
• Quantitative and statistical skills
• Strong experience with data structures, large data sets, and working around data quality and integrity issues
• Experience with software architecture, high-performance computing, and relational databases
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements
• Proven success building or modifying market risk platforms
• Experience working with real-time market quote feeds
• Experience working with FIX message protocols and the life-cycle of orders, fill reports, and drop copies
• Knowledge of the compliance and regulatory concerns associated with building and operating a proprietary risk system
• May occasionally work non-standard hours, including nights & weekends, as necessary to support business needs Skills
• 3+ years' hands-on experience building production applications using Java platform technologies, 7-11 versions.
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot 2.7, REST, JSF, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache Camel, JEE, JPA/Hibernate, and SQL in production applications.
• Extensive experience with Rest APIs and JSON
• SQL and Relational Database experience
• Messaging systems: 0MQ, RabbitMQ, Apache Artemis/Classic, Kafka
• Project planning and estimation of tasks

Education

Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field is seen as a strong, foundational education for this kind of role but is not required if the resource has the experience and qualifications
