Primary Purpose

The Analyst reports to the Accounting Coordinator with regards to managing the activities related to special projects accounting matters, including capitalization and expenses segregation, cost control reports, budgets control, policy compliance, SOX compliance and all activities that can have effect over budget figures, CAPEX, cash flow, etc.

This position also needs to continuous involve the Manufactory Finance Business Partner (dotted line) with regards to budget evolution and all administrative requirements related to the project.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare reconciliation accounts, analyze differences and add supporting documentation. Record journal entries during the month and in the month-end closing process.

Prepare month-end close activities to transmit accurate financial statements in accordance with regional and corporate deadlines.

Research and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts in accordance with company policies Prepare Final Cost determination and inventory.

Prepare Final Cost determination and inventory management, analysis and control of logistical reserves.

Support all areas of the company, providing required information in a timely manner. Support SII activities.

Prepare information and analysis requested by internal and external auditors.

Prepare other information and analysis for special projects (e.g. Foxtrot).

Build organizational capacity for innovation through training and other avenues.

Identify solutions to market challenges by leveraging open innovation, emerging technologies, partnerships, networks, suppliers, ideation, etc.

Continually promote innovative changes and improvements in business processes, systems and concepts in order to deliver profitable and sustainable growth opportunities.

Experience:

At least 3 to 5 years of effective experience in accounting.

Strong knowledge of both local and US GAAP accounting rules.

Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex data and issues and proactively develop solutions.
