Join our team to drive the implementation of Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) on Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) for the client. This role involves the migration of on-prem Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) and Informatica Axon content to the cloud.
As an Informatica IDMC Admin, you will be responsible for the following implementation, migration, and post-implementation activities:
· Configuration: Configure the IDMC/CDGC target environment.
· Organizational Roles: Define organizations and roles, segregate business teams, and set up permissions according to best practices.
· Authentication/Authorization: Configure authentication/authorization and permissions, including integration with Azure AD and SSO.
· Secure Agent Installation: Install Secure Agent instances on-premises in non-production and production environments.
· Connectivity Setup: Set up connectivity to the client on-prem data sources (mainly Oracle, SQL Server, Denodo), Snowflake enterprise data warehouse, and AWS Athena data lake.
· Scope Definition: Define scope based on analysis of the existing business glossary, metadata catalog, and data connectors in EDC/Axon.
· Migration Planning: Plan migration in a phased approach following prioritization defined by the project lead.
· Migration Execution: Export/import existing content to the cloud or reconfigure data connectors to rescan metadata.
· Technical Validations: Conduct technical validations and support UAT testing.
· User Support: Provide support to users during the stabilization phase immediately after go-live.
· BAU Support: Potential for contract extension for Business as Usual (BAU) support.
· Bilingual: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.
· Experience: Only candidates with demonstrable experience in migration projects from EDC/Axon to CDGC will be considered.
· Needs to have performed a migration from on prem Informatica (EDC or Axon) to the cloud, CDGC (Cloud Data Governance Catalog).
· This is within IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud), not IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
