Summary:
The Area Group Sales Manager based in CDMX is a dynamic and strategic leader who plays a pivotal role in driving group bookings and revenue growth. This individual will work alongside a talented sales team, cultivate strong client relationships, and implement effective sales strategies. The role is crucial in maximizing group sales revenue, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the hospitality brand.
Deberes y Responsabilidades.
- Desarrollar e implementar planes estratégicos de ventas para alcanzar los objetivos de ingresos.
- Gestionar las cuentas de viajes de negocios locales y nacionales.
- Preparar y completar propuestas anuales (RFP) para cuentas corporativas y de consorcios, así como informes de reservas al final del período.
- Realizar prospección, solicitud y desarrollo de cuentas a través de llamadas telefónicas, contactos personales, visitas, correspondencia, correo electrónico y otros medios de comunicación.
- Construir y mantener relaciones sólidas con clientes corporativos, planificadores de eventos y organizadores de grupos.
- Maximizar los ingresos por ventas de grupos mediante estrategias efectivas de fijación de precios y técnicas de negociación.
- Preparar y presentar propuestas y contratos de manera oportuna, precisa, rentable, agradable y profesional, tanto por escrito como verbalmente.
- Actuar como enlace entre los clientes y los equipos del hotel para garantizar una ejecución de eventos sin problemas.
- Ejecutar contratos de cuentas, incluyendo cualquier negociación necesaria, de manera oportuna.
- Realizar análisis de mercado regular para identificar oportunidades de crecimiento.
- Mantenerse informado sobre las tendencias de la industria, las actividades de la competencia y las demandas del mercado.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Manage the local and national Business Travel accounts
- Prepare and complete annual RFP's for corporate and consortia accounts, and period-end booking reports.
- Complete account prospecting, solicitation, and development via telephone, personal contact, outside calls, correspondence, email and other means of communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and group organizers.
- Maximize group sales revenue through effective pricing strategies and negotiation techniques.
- Prepare and present proposals and contracts both written and verbal in a prompt, accurate, profitable, pleasant and professional manner
- Act as a liaison between clients and hotel teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Execute account contracts including any necessary negotiations in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in group sales within the hospitality industry, with Marriott brand experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of SalesPro.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally for business meetings and client presentations (VISA and passport).
- Must be proficient in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
