This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing patient support programs to enhance the patient experience and improve therapy adherence for key specialty care products. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, healthcare professionals, third-party vendors, and patients to ensure that support services are delivered effectively and in compliance with GSK standards.
The PSP Manager will focus on optimizing patient outcomes by managing access to therapies, education, reimbursement support, and overall patient satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities: This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:
Develop and oversee comprehensive patient support programs that align with the company's therapeutic portfolio.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, access, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance) to ensure program alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
Identify patient needs and incorporate them into the design of diagnostic & monitoring tools, support services, including education, financial assistance, and adherence programs.
Manage third-party vendors and partners who provide patient support services, ensuring quality and compliance.
Ensure patients and caregivers have access to resources that improve their understanding of the therapy, condition, and treatment goals.
Monitor patient journey touchpoints and enhance the patient experience through continuous improvement of support services.
Ensure PSP activities adhere to industry regulations (i.e Cofepris) and GSK corporate compliance standards.
Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders on program progress, patient outcomes, and areas for improvement.
Oversee external vendors involved in delivering support services, including call centers, financial assistance programs, and digital platforms.
Analyze patient and program data to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as patient engagement, adherence rates, and program satisfaction.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, healthcare administration, or a related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in patient support programs, patient access, or a related role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry within high specialty area.
Advanced English
Experience managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, patient access, and reimbursement processes.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful patient support initiatives.
Soft skills: proactivity, curiosity, stakeholder management, communication skills, results oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD) is a plus
