Arco Ombudsman Advisor
Role purpose. It will be responsible for receiving and issuing legal opinions, as well as providing timely advice to executives on different legal issues, through the service channels via email, EUC and Pool OMB line.
Activities:
Analysis of documentation for the liquidation of deposit products and consumer loans with a balance in favor due to the death of the owner.
Management for the delivery in branch of car bills.
Analysis of documentation for the opening of accounts of individuals and legal entities, (signatures upon request, executors, minors, etc.).
Advice on official identifications.
Review of succession trials, guardianship and custody, interdiction, declarations of absence and/or presumption of death.
Legal interpretation of the resolution of notarial and consular powers.
Advice on credit titles such as essential elements of checks, cancellation and suspension, endorsements, protests, submission deadlines, etc.
Advice on commercial companies and on the faculties of persons related to accounts of Legal Entities. (RBB only)
Interpretation of restrictions at the request of authorities (class 1 type 8).
Advice on embargoes via official letter or proceedings against HSBC assets.
Advice on the reception of letters from authorities.
Legal cases and doubts that are related to the daily operation in the branch.
Achieve the settlement of products with a balance in favor of deceased customers at the request of the claimants.
Advice for the correct operation of credit titles.
Advice on documentation received by authorities
Comply with the regulations and provisions of the HBMX documentation and global standards.
Deal with special cases of deceased clients
Legal advice on credit titles
Review of legal processes before authorities such as; succession trials, interdiction trials, presumption of death, guardianship and custody, voluntary jurisdictions, and analysis of testimonial deeds before a notary public.
Be the effective link and manager of improvements between internal areas and the Branch Network.
Identify areas of opportunity in the process and trigger the search for solutions, as well as escalate said situations in order to make it more effective.

Attend and follow up on the requirements of the executives based on the guarantee times established for the process.
Clarify specifications or legal language to WPB employees.

Requirements
Requirements :
Law Degree (Graduated or in the process of obtaining a degree)
Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year as a legal adviser or similar.
Desirable master's degree in law or business administration.
