Job Description
Software Allies, a KMS company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and coding in Salesforce, as well as managing complex integrations with 3rd party APIs and other plugins. As a Salesforce CPQ Developer, you will also perform administration tasks in the Salesforce.com instance, ensuring the smooth operation of various components such as workflow rules, process builders, approval processes, reports, dashboards, and more.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and customize Salesforce CPQ to meet the specific needs of our sales processes and pricing strategies.
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, focusing on infrastructure scalability, data delivery optimization, and automation of manual processes.
Implement, monitor, and manage complex integrations with 3rd party APIs and other plugins.
Configure, customize, and code in Salesforce to meet business requirements.
Perform administration tasks in the Salesforce.com instance, including managing fields/relationships, workflow rules, process builders, flows, approval processes, page layouts, validation rules, email notifications, custom buttons/links, reports, dashboards, roles, profiles, and sharing rules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Salesforce CPQ.
Stay up-to-date with Salesforce CPQ releases, new features, and industry best practices to continuously enhance our Salesforce CPQ implementation.
Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and other developers to maintain data integrity, security, and user access controls.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Salesforce Developer role.
At least 6 years of overall IT or development experience.
Salesforce Admin and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications are required.
Salesforce CPQ Certification and experience are preferred.
Strong understanding of Salesforce administration, with the ability to leverage declarative tools such as flows when appropriate, rather than relying solely on code.
1.5 to 2 years of experience working with CPQ is desired, along with a solid understanding of Salesforce administration.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
