Oversee overall performance of +200 collaborators andresponsible for safety, delivery, quality, cost and personnel development of aftermarketoperations. Accountable of Repair and Overhaul Aviation Regulations (includingSafety Management System - SMS.) Key Responsibilities
Accountable on HS&E programs compliance.
Responsible of customer quality fast response; lead root cause analysis, follow up & closure.
Responsible to administrate operations budget (variable and fix costs) and drives cost reduction initiatives thru lean and 6 sigma methodologies. Partners with finance to define AOP cost targets.
Defines the strategy to achieve goals and objectives aligned with Customer expectations.
Support new products and technology's introduction and transitions. SOP on time.
Lead process/product quality audits and gemba walks.
Responsible to lead continuous improvement elements (5's, Standard Work, RPS, Visual Management, TPM, etc.) and factory Management maturity through production floor.
Responsible to drive productivity improvements projects.
Responsible to define and follow-up on Individual Development Plans based Execute Mid-Year and Annual Performance Reviews.
Drive Rewards and recognizeindividual and team performance.
WE VALUE
5+ years of demonstrated experience leading manufacturing operations.
Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Expert certification (desirable.)
Knowledge of safety and ergonomics related to process and equipment design and implementation (desirable.)
Knowledge of Quality Systems & Standards (desirable)
Experienced on Microsoft Cffice applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SAP (desirable.)
Bilingual Spanish-English (desirable.)
Ability to manage priorities, meet tight deadlines, and ensure follow-up.
Strong communication and negotiation skills with direct reports, peers and leadership.
