Ideal Candidate:
· 1 Year min. experience in Ground Pricing/Services
· Having supported, assisted, or coordinated any / all the following:
· Domestic shipments (Mexico / USA)
· International shipments (inbound/ southbound MX-USA-CAN)
· Border Crossing + Custom Clearance (impo / expo)
· In-Transit Cargo (Bonded Shipments)
· General Cargo and HZMT (MSDS documentation)
· Basic documentation on Ground Services (FTL/LTL/EXP)
· Analytical skills, on rates and pricing data
· Project management skills
· Attitude to improve the relationships with carriers and coworkers of
· different areas
· Education: International Business / Foreign Trade-Customs or related. (Desired but not limited to)
Key Contribution:
· Carrier prospecting by phone and web approach
· Attention to new projects and bidding processes
· Negotiation with carriers to improve rates, credits, services and availability of
units
· Ability to guide our internal clients to select the best transport service
· According to the final customer’s needs
· Review data, create reports and make valuable decisions for the company
· Analysis of current market conditions to develop new pricing strategies
