U.S. Client is looking for Admin (Healthcare Industry)!
The Associate will provide support to the AR Management team by making adjustments, processing refunds and posting payments. Cash posters handle a range of finance-related tasks.
Likewise, cash posters are expected to have effective communication skills and pay close attention to detail — as they are responsible for evaluating and verifying the information on Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and accurately balancing batches in Epics hospital and physician electronic health record (EHR) software.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Posting payments from patients and third parties
• Posting adjustments to patients' accounts
• Processing incoming remittances
• Verifying write-offs
• Inspecting EOB statements
• Ensuring accuracy for all posted transactions
• Meet departmental guidelines for quality and productivity
• Other duties as needed and directed by leadership
• Follows established policies and procedures, including staff conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Other duties as assigned
