Senior Hospitality Front Desk in Short-Term Rental Management Property
Company Description:
RSB Living is a property management and hospitality company specialized in short-term and mid-term rentals. We offer accommodations in primarily luxury single-family homes to guests coming into Texas for various reasons like vacationing, working, medical treatments, etc. Many of these properties have constant turn over, similar to the way hotel rooms have in a hotel. This is why our operations at many times resemble more that of a hotel than a property management company.
Senior Hospitality Front Desk Job Description:
The role of Senior Hospitality Front Desk Associate is a mid-level position at RSB Living. The role is in charge of performing many of the same duties and responsibilities regularly associated to that of a hotel's front desk for the luxury short and mid-term rental homes under our management. The job is performed primarily on-site at our Mexico City offices in Lomas de Chapultepec III really close to where the Sanborns in Palmas is located, as well as sometimes from home, especially for the night shifts.
Detailed Description of Responsibilities:Communications:
- Manage all guest communications across multiple platforms (Guesty, Airbnb, VRBO, BookingDotcom, etc.)
- Handle phone and email inquiries professionally and efficiently
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure guest satisfaction
- Liaise with utility providers to resolve any service issues promptly
Reservations Management
- Process reservations, modifications, and cancellations accurately
- Upsell room upgrades and additional services to maximize revenue
- Manage payment collection and follow up on outstanding balances
- Handle disputes and chargebacks professionally
Property Management
- Maintain up-to-date and attractive property listings across all platforms
- Conduct regular audits of property information and pricing
- Manage guest reviews and respond appropriately to feedback
- Coordinate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies
Operations
- Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth guest experience
- Manage and troubleshoot smart home technologies (locks, thermostats, cameras)
- Monitor inventory and coordinate supply orders
- Assist in training and mentoring junior staff members
Reporting and Analytics
- Generate and analyze occupancy and revenue reports
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency
- Update owner portals with financial information and property performance metrics
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in hotel front desk or similar hospitality role preferred.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in property management systems and booking platforms
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
Compensation:
We offer a competitive net salary of $17,000 to $20,000 pesos per month, based on experience and performance. This package includes all benefits required by law, performance bonuses, and opportunities for career advancement within our growing organization.
Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring up to 48 hours per week, with rotating shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage. Flexibility is required to meet the demands of our dynamic hospitality environment.
