DESCRIPTION

Responsible of timely maintain all tax related activities to accomplish with local and corporates requirements.

Assists in the administration and preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual closure. Prepares taxes reports. Perform internal audit to the processes. Create and implement policies and procedures.

DUTIES

1.    Responsible for monthly income tax calculation

2.    Calculate, gather and provide information to external auditors related to:

a.- Statutory Audit Report

b.- Annual Income Tax

c.- Profit Sharing (PTU)

3.    Coordinate and follow up the Social Security audit report with External auditor and the intenral payroll resource

4.    Reconcile Taxes accounts from Balance Sheet for SOX (Sarbanes Oxley)

5.    Calculate, prepare and provide the tax package for corporate

6.    Request VAT refund to the IRS in a monthly basis

7.    Request and follow up on vendors the positive opinion for the IRS

8.    Answer/gather further IRS request for VAT refund

9.    Electronic accounting implementation support

10. Reconcile the VAT weekly and present the status in the SQDC board weekly

11. Supports during various internal audits

12. Assist in liaison with the internal audit department's visits and information requests.

13. Demonstrate a clear understanding of the relevance of internal control policies and proficiency in creating and deploying them.

14. Assist in liaison with external audit and consulting firms.

15. Perform Import/Export Audit in a monthly basis.

EXPERIENCE

In a numbered list, describe specific work experience requirements; include years of experience for each requirement:

1. Minimum of five (5) to eigth (8) years of tax experience in manufacturing environments preffered.

2. Demonstrated experience with Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Access.

3. Specific proficiency in the utilization of Excel (master pivot tables, subtotal & filter options, able to query and manipulate data thru several functions, etc).
