The Collections Team Lead will work closely with the CEO to build and grow a Collections team from scratch, create NPL management strategy, develop and drive a consistent successful team, and be accountable for the department results.
Role responsibilities:
Building a team from scratch involving international experience of the Company.
Development of methodology, motivation system, and KPI's for the Collection team.
Creating an NPL management strategy using technical collection tools.
Communication with the IT team and external contractors regarding the technical solutions integration.
Being accountable for the Collection department results.
Provide continued Training & Development for the Team.
Role Qualifications:
5+ years of collections management experience at Fintech companies, Collection agencies, Microfinance institutions; Bank-Risk Department or BPO agencies.
Bachelor degree or above, preferred in Economics, Business Administration or other related majors.
Comprehensive understanding of the financial and debt collection industry in Mexico. Knowledge of the governing law applicable to industry.
Development and implementation of soft-collection stages, procedures, policies, and metrics.
Proven experience to empower, develop, mentor, and lead teams.
Ability to handle pressure whilst solving problems and conflicts, with highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Consistency in decision making and accountability; highly developed ability to prioritize, analize, and make decision.
High motivation and desire to demonstrate the potential.
Being an inspirational Leader for the team with hands-on approach.
Expertise with CRM and Collections System.
Advanced Excel user.
Advanced level of English and Spanish is a must since the position reports to foreign managers.

High pay conditions: fixed salary 30-50K monthly basis + up to 30% bonuses monthly upon performance targets met.
