Job Title: Lab Trainee - Tijuana

Position Overview:

• This position will be primarily responsible for the Software Center of Excellence Tijuana site laboratory mobile device farm and test equipment.
• The position will be directly involved with their counterpart lab manager in San Diego.
• This position will also be proactive in shipping equipment to stakeholders.
• This position will also maintain the first point of contact for lab visitors in-person and via chat.

Responsibilities:

• Train and guide end users to ensure proper device operation and maintenance.
• Distribute devices for internal employee use.
• Troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain mobile device farm within the lab.
• Develop and maintain documentation for the mobile device farm, including user procedures.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving to the lab and work closely with organization to ensure project devices are appropriately tracked and stored.
• Support establishment of new lab functionalities as needed.
• Maintain the lab/storage spaces in a clean, organized, and uncluttered way.
• Coordinate purchase orders and requests for lab equipment, as necessary.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of equipment and other packages, including courier of urgent packages and documents to other company facilities in the company as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work on-site handling incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Able to travel between Tijuana, San Diego, and Acton office sites as necessary to continue mobile device farm and test equipment laboratory functions.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
