What Does an SAP ABAP Do?

• Act as a liaison between technical, functional, and business teams to ensure efficient and effective deployment of solutions.

• Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and develop robust technical designs.

• Implement complex system enhancements and deliver tailored solutions.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced technical issues within SAP systems.

• Plan, assign, and oversee the work of the ABAP development team to ensure timely and quality outputs.

• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high coding standards and best practices.

What are we looking for in you?

• Hands-on experience in SAP ABAP.

• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and communicating with technical teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Extensive SAP Experience: Proven track record in SAP implementations, rollouts, upgrades, enhancements, and providing production support.

• Core ABAP Expertise: Strong command over ABAP and OO ABAP, with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining RICEFW and Data Dictionary objects, and SAPScript / SmartForms development tools.

• Problem Solving & Debugging: Exceptional troubleshooting skills with the ability to debug system code and implement corrective solutions for user-reported issues.

• Integration Experience: Strong experience in developing SAP integrations using interface technologies like IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.

• ODATA Services: Solid understanding and exposure to consuming ODATA services within SAP environment.

• SAP Workflow: Deep knowledge in SAP Workflow architecture, with expertise in design, development, and configuration of workflows to streamline complex business processes.

• S/4 HANA Experience: Familiarity and hands-on experience with S/4 HANA technology.

• SAP FIORI/UI5 Exposure: Experience or exposure in working with SAP UI5 /Fiori to develop user-friendly applications.
