He/She defines the product test strategy based on Customer and Valeo standards specifications and risk analysis (PCA, PHA, DFMEA, R&D Metiers Fix-Variable-Specific analysis).

He/She supports the project team for compatibility matrix & risk analysis, with contribution of the product family validation standard owner up from the project acquisition phase.

He/She documents Design Validation plan including environmental validation test plan and functional validation test plan with the product architect, based on defined test strategy.

He/She plans & quotes at CAA with the R&D PTM all necessary actions to run the DV as:

number of parts, jiggs, subcomponents, headcount, test bench costs (characterization, reliability), potential external test costs.

He/She secures that validation conditions & planning feasibility are within project commitments :

• Validation data (technical and system requirements, simulation reports, technical inputs for testing...) to be supplied by the product architect and metier design leaders
• Labs means availability (tests equipment, mission profiles, skills, certified suppliers for sub contracting tests)
• State that test prerequisites checklist are documented with part level maturity at each DV step.

Nota : prototypes, samples and pre-series parts procurements & audit check + purchase admin. are not managed by labs.

He/She coordinates all product integrations and validation activities (regulations, functional, system, optics, mechanics, EE tests including EMC, craftsmanship, vehicle tests), whatever the laboratory involved, whatever if managed internally or externally to supply the validation deliverables.

He/she secures reports archiving in TMT.

He/She reports issues at the first level of analysis and progress through DV&R dashboard (KPIs).

He/She reports project validation risks assessment to the R&D PTM in DV phase.

He/She is responsible of RAISE Validation metier review management.

He/She capitalizes on product risks and reports all capitalization data to the product family Test & Validation standard owner (LLC management from DV failures).

He/She releases the DV&R with validation status to be approved by the Test & Validation Manager

He/She provides DV&R report to the R&D PTM .

Note: PV&R execution and deliverables are managed by QPTM.
