Objective

You will be the person responsible for leading a project control group (Cost Controls and Schedulers). As well as defining the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control and report on costs and schedules for simultaneous projects throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

• You will need to know metrics and tools for cost planning and schedules (work breakdown structure), performance data collection (quantities installed, labor hours spent, and other physical progress measures for subcontractor jobs), data tracking (collection and monitoring of daily costs), analysis (analysis of earned value and productivity), and periodic reporting to project management and the client.
• You'll need to identify and track changes or potential changes to the project scope, ensuring estimates of cost changes and schedule impact have visibility with the client and project management.
• You will integrate cost and schedule data and reports using the company's management and accounting information systems to facilitate the fulfillment of the company's financial and performance objectives.
• As the head of a work team, you must have a deep knowledge, advanced skills to solve problems and identify the priorities of the activities that the team will execute in its day to day. Your work will be guided by functional practices, management precedents and professional standards. You should be used to making decisions and be able to develop conclusions from analysis and apply the results to operations.
• It will make independent decisions and set priorities related to complex situations. You must be able to manage small projects, or large projects. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of project-related policies and processes for the project to meet business objectives.
• You will work with self-initiated interaction with the supervisor and self-initiated technical orientation. Influence on duties. Work will be allocated in terms of broad objectives to be achieved.
