We are currently seeking a Tax Supervisor to ensure full compliance with local and international tax obligations and lead critical tax processes that support the financial health and regulatory standing of our operations in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure 100% compliance with local tax regulations and IFRS standards
Perform tax calculations (current and deferred) and reconcile financial data (e.g., CFDI vs JDE)
Monitor and recover VAT balances and address tax authority requirements
Identify tax opportunities and risks to support strategic decisions
Attend audits and oversee compliance with UBO, IFRIC 23, transfer pricing, and reportable schemes
Stay up to date with evolving tax requirements and lead implementation of changes
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Credit & Collection
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and government agencies
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's in Tax or MBA preferred)
5–10 years of experience in similar tax roles
Deep knowledge of tax regulations, transfer pricing, and local/international compliance
Proficient in English (90%) and tools such as JDE, SAP, SAT portal, Outlook, and Lotus Notes
Analytical, proactive, and solutions-oriented
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
