Primary Purpose and Main Responsibilities

Primary Purpose:

Analyst reports directly to the Cost Control Manager with regards to managing the activities related to Fixed Assets / CAPEX projects accounting matters, including capitalization and expenses segregation, cost control reports, budgets control, policy compliance, SOX compliance, depreciation, capital interest under US GAAP and local GAAP and all activities that can have effect over budget figures and evolution, CAPEX, cash flow, Actual Cost, etc. Also, analyst support in Cost Convertion close and analysis activities, Updating of Standard Cost, Analytic review of Inventory Values and Materials close activities and review

Cost Control Activities:

• Monthly meeting with operating leaders to track, analysis and identify possible unrecorded liabilities and perform the necessary monitoring to ensure all accruals incurred in the month are properly recorded in the correct period.
• Analytics reviewing of manufacturing and operating expenses Actual Month vs previous month, Actual month vs Forecast month.
• Support in Cost conversion and materials month end closing, including but not limited to analysis of reasonableness Raw material, WIP and Finished Goods inventory unit cost, determinate the Standard cost of raw material, minutes and cost convertion budgeted to update standard cost of the following periods, and distribute all actual cost to all materials produced based on machines activity of the month.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting, projects accounting or auditing experience (preferably in a large, public accounting firm or large manufacturing Company)
• Experience in consolidating data from multiple locations, whether domestic or international.
• Strong analytical skills, able to understand complex data and issues with demonstrated ability to think outside the box.
• Knowledge of Mx GAAP's and U.S. GAAP's.
• 80% of English for speak, read and hear activities.
