IT Systems Engineer

We are seeking an IT Systems Engineer to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As an IT Systems Engineer at Marsh, you will be responsible for problem solving, knowledge generation, and developing repeatable processes, and you will respond as the escalation point for non-standard issues and incidents and is responsible for the construction of standard communications. This role will back up the Help Desk and local support colleagues.

• Analyze trends, perform root cause analysis

• Tech Services, advanced training
• Escalation Support
• Backup Help Desk and Local Support as needed
• Continued learning and elevation of skills
• Technology asset management

What you need to have:

• 4-6 years of experience in a system technical support role
• Hardware experience: Windows Servers; PCs, and Smartphones
• Operating System experience: Windows Server, Windows 11, Android, iOS, MAC OS
• Software experience: M365 core applications; SharePoint management basics; NTFS permissions management; Windows server configuration and optimization
• Active Directory object management experience and knowledge of sites and services, trusts, replication, and core AD functions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Level of English is a Must

What makes you stand out:

• Scripting experience in PowerShell, VBS, VBA, Python or other is a nice to have
• Working in AWS and Azure environments a plus
