Your Role:

• Facilitate test coverage analysis process, ensuring adequate test coverage for ICT and MOL test process, request design changes in case test coverage issues in early design phase.
• Work out a suitable standard test equipment/configuration for the assigned task.
• Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Methodology to optimize CPK performance of parametric electrical tests.
• Provide equipment training to PML test engineers, latest after PV.
• Ensure the process and lines assigned are complying with the required practices, develop a look across chart to identify gaps and define actions.
• Review PFMEA for product assigned and update if required. Identify new potential failure modes, new potential causes and also identify actions to reduce the RPN's. Ensure that PFMEA and QP match on the blocks sequence. Ensure quality improvements performed on the manufacturing test equipment are documented on the PFMEA.
• Generate and Update process specification for assigned process.
• Active participation when a variation needs to be implemented.
• Perform layer process audit checklist.
• Perform safety observation tour.
• Manage fixed assets inventory for equipment assigned.
• Perform capability studies (CPk, GRR analysis) for equipment and tooling assigned.

Your Background:

• Bachelor's Degree on Engineering
• Bilingual-Spanish/English.
• 2-3 years of experience in automotive industry.
• Proficient in software development skills in one or more of the following software languages: National Instruments LabView, NI LabWindows CVI, NI TestStand, C++.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for implementing improvements.
• Ability to work well under pressure, and willing to work and live a global network environment.
• Good level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers and local and remote technical support staff.
• High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult.
• Highly developed oral and written communications skills.
• Understanding of basic and advanced statistical techniques.
• Highly effective organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to identify work projects and improvement opportunities with a minimum amount of supervision.
