Senior Data Engineer

Modality: Hybrid - 2-3 days a week 

Contract: 12 months (with high potential for extension)

Location: Avenida Patriotismo, Ciudad de México

Obligatory: English advanced

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• 6+ years in Data Engineering & Software Development (cloud deployment; AWS preferred)
• Strong expertise in Postgres and Spark (Scala Spark preferred; PySpark also considered)
• Proficient in Java and/or Scala for hands-on system development
• Solid experience in designing scalable, resilient, and high-performance data systems
• Hands-on experience with OLTP/OLAP systems and distributed architectures
• Proficiency in NoSQL technologies (document, column-family, graph databases)

Tech Stack You'll Work With:

• Databases: Db2, Couchbase, Postgres, Oracle
• Backend/Frontend: Java via OneData, React via OneApp
• Testing & DevOps: Cucumber, Gatling, Karate, Jest, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Cloud: AWS, GCP
