This role will be responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the worldwide level specific to enabling/attaching services to HPE products. It includes but is not limited to partnering with various functional teams to make Services available in the various Upfront routes to market.
This involves applying advanced subject matter knowledge in solving common and complex Services-related business/technical issues specific to the enablement of quoting and ordering via customer/partner-facing tools/systems. It also includes designing and developing process improvements and recommends/implements changes in alignment with business tactics and strategy for area of responsibility. It will requires partnering closely with the Services portfolio teams and various global operations functional teams to ensure success in New Services and New Products Introductions.
How you will make your mark:
Responsible for the overall business success of a set of services, solutions, or a subset of the portfolio, product family, or functional segment in the Upfront/Services Attach routes to market.
Partners/Consults with Services Product Managers (SPMs) in the service definition phase to help evaluate, scope, define, and plan new services, providing guidance around configuration/quoting.
Leads the design & implementation of Services/Configuration rules across various quoting systems/tools.
Leads/Coordinates the Services Attach work stream on various programs/initiatives across the Upfront RTM.
Understands and follow the HPE Services Product Lifecycle Process for New Service Introductions (NSI) and New Product Introductions (NPI); provide guidance to PE peers and partner organizations.
Collaborates with various teams to successfully implement programs in the Services Attach areas.
Identifies and drives process improvements for services route to market related to Services Attach Configuration and Quoting.
Creates and fosters a mutually beneficial relationship with Services Business Groups, Quoting/Ordering teams, Services Packaging/Pricing and Business partners WW and across all geographies.
About you:
Typically, 5+ years to establish proven track record in Service Business Management.
First level or advanced level university degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in English language.
Proven project-management acumen.
Demonstrated knowledge of corporate organization, culture, and policies, as well as cross-functional roles and objectives.
Skills in problem solving and analysis.
Familiarity with various HPE configuration and quoting tools.
Experienced in working across/various functional and regional teams.
