Job Description
Cloud Ops Platform Team (aka Mars Platform)
Who You Are:
You want to be part of a community of the most talented, forward-thinking engineers in the industry. You take satisfaction in building and deploying resilient, performant, and thoroughly tested modules and distributed systems that can power most applications.
You want to learn, work with, and contribute to open-source technologies. You have experience in distributed systems, database, performance analysis, monitoring, cloud technologies. You are Enthusiastic to learn and improve product, scalability and availability. You have expertise in getting smooth flow of CI-CD pipelines and manage production systems.
Technical Skills:
*6 - 10 years of experience in Software Development
*Java Development 2+ yoe.
*Modern Python Stack Development (Python 3.X) yoe.
*DevOps Role using Java and Python
Responsabilities:
* Cloud Ops Platform Team (aka Mars platform) that is responsible for
* Developing software to integrate with internal back-end systems and deployments
* Building tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve experience
* Performing root cause analysis for production errors
* Investigating and resolving technical issues on alarms and monitoring
* Developing performance regression suites and establish benchmarks, KPIs
* Developing scripts to automate various tasks
* Reporting of insights via dashboards
* Designing procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Responsibilities
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
