The Product Sr. Manager is responsible for evaluating, designing, piloting, and implementing new indoor and outdoor technologies required to support new product development initiatives and/or improvements and new deployments of current product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate new indoor and outdoor technologies and solutions, capabilities, features, scalability, costs, technical and operational requirements, compliance and customer's requirements and specifications. Lead end-to-end technical design of new products and solutions by interacting and working together with internal (i.e. engineering, operations, sales, finance) and external (vendors, customers) teams to ensure success for the entire organization.
Lead technical readiness and change management activities (communication, training, processes) for soft launch and product scale.
Lead standardization / homologation processes required by customers to ensure adoption of new products / solutions (installations specifications and acceptance protocols).Lead evaluation and selection of required vendors / 3rd parties, including the definition and documentation of scope of work and requirements, implementation and operational processes, service level agreements, and deliverables.
Lead technical evaluation, design and implementation of pilots, and new products/services, and follow up and provide support to Operations areas in new deployments of the current outdoor and indoor product portfolio.
Supervise and manage internal areas (i.e. Engineering, Operations) and selected vendors / 3rd parties to ensure project designs and implementations are executed in time and according to technical specifications, including optimizations needed, technical documentation and hand off to operations.
Define quality control processes, measure and evaluate KPIs to identify improvement opportunities to solution designs, implementation and optimization processes, and achieve cost efficiencies.
Provides technical support to commercial area with expertise to support sales efforts and by interacting with customer's technical teams to provide detailed product information.
Elaborates diverse technical documentation and presentations, product specifications and description, installation manuals, acceptance protocols, contract annexes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Expertise in Telecom & Technology environments, technical product development, RF design, engineering tools (Auto CAD, iBWave, Atoll, MapInfo. RF-Vu, etc.), engineering project management and deployments (civil works, inside and outside plant, power), quality and optimization processes.
Expertise in indoor and outdoor mobile connectivity technologies (WCDMA, LTE, DAS, 5G, Cloud, WiFi, CBRS, etc.), fiber connectivity, vendors and 3rd party ecosystem.
Experience homologating / standardizing new products/technologies with customers and leading new deployments and PoCs.
Organized and self-motivated, high energy and empathy, influence and negotiation capabilities and strength in working in individual or team settings.
Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
Ability to build quality relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
