- Responsible for the overall performance of the site against targets established via a balanced scorecard in the areas of Safety, Food Safety, Quality, Service, Manufacturing, Cost & People.
- Assure a safe, healthy, and positive environment for all the site's stakeholders.
- Propose and develop sustainable processes and operations by looking for ways to improve performance while reducing environmental impacts and operating costs.
- Embrace servant leadership and demonstrate values and vision on the site, collaborating with all departments to succeed in both short and long-term strategies.
- Implement and support our quality programs and tools to deliver products fulfilling customer's expectations.
- Ensure and nurture a culture of “Safety, Food safety and Quality Always” mindset across all teams and leaders in the site, in line with the Go4Zero objective.
- Develop and keep healthy relationships with local authorities, union representatives, and other institutions representing interests.
- Act and escalate for deviations that cannot be solved locally and/or needing organizational support.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licenses on a country, local or global level are met as well as meet cyber security protocols.
- Support all internal, external agency & customer related audits & certifications (SMEDA, Smetra rainforest alliance, organic, etc).
- Ensure planning, making, and delivering all products in the production portfolio, including all manufacturing processes on the site.
- Within the global strategy, plan, organize, coordinate, and control operations on site to meet short and long-term operational objectives while complying with customer requirements, rules, laws, and regulations.
- Implement and support the development of the Culture of Continuous Improvement and Excellence in performance.
- Develop our people and career opportunities through managing an effective succession planning process balancing the needs of the organization while promoting the growth of our employees.
- Accountable for the effective management and reliability of the manufacturing, utility and infrastructure assets.
