About the role:
Under minimal supervision, this position leads a team ofcross-technology database administrators and database developers/reportinganalysts and applies a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end dataprocesses/flows and concepts to implement frameworks, processes, controls,models, and solutions to ensure data is effectively managed across theorganization or within a specific business unit. Implements data stewardshipand other relevant data accountability structures across business andtechnology organizations to ensure data is effectively managed. Drivesorganizational change as necessary to implement data frameworks, processes,controls, etc. across the organization or within a given business unit.

>Provides leadership and direction to subordinate leads or senior-level professional roles (i.e., typically those that require 4 or more years of experience). >Operates with a blend of leadership styles focused on making the team successful >Focuses on long-term operational planning and performance. >Develops short- and long-term plans by translating business strategies and emerging external trends to organizational and operational tactics and priorities. >Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational, risk management, business, and organizational challenges. Impacts results by supporting the funding of projects, products, services, and/or technologies. >Develops policies and promotes evolving risk management techniques. >Provides necessary analysis & reporting of Organizational KPIs and other operational metrics on a routine basis >Provides direction and guidance for large projects and initiatives, typically with significant implications for a LOB or function. >May play a lead role or technical consultant role in large or complex projects or initiatives. >Has full management responsibilities for teammates: hiring, disciplinary, coaching, terminating, performance reviews. >Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA) >Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA)
About you:
>Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience >Minimum 3 years of management experience managing SQL Database Administrators and/or SQL Database Developers >Minimum 3 years of experience in full people management responsibilities including hiring, dismissals, promotions, performance and compensation management, training and development >Minimum 5 years of hands on technical experience as SQL Database Administrator and/or SQL Database Developer >Minimum 3 years of hands on technical experience with SSIS >Good professional knowledge of English on communicative level >Experience working in partnership with other executives and senior managers in developing, managing, planning, and supporting strategy, roadmap, and business critical IT systems >Experience working with executive and senior management regarding budget planning, project planning and progress, system architecture and design reviews, operation and governance procedures and in development and discussion of various infrastructure processes and standards >Experience leading effort to work on AUDIT/PCI/SOX compliance, data security, devising and implementing complex data privacy policies for safeguarding data >Independently able to lead projects and duties as assigned. >Mentor SQL Database Administrators and/or SQL Database Developers. >Broad and in-depth knowledge within own professional discipline. >Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies. >Ability to translate business strategies and emerging external trends to organizational and operational tactics. >Ability to solve unique and highly complex technical, operational, business, and organizational problems. >Ability to lead and manage performance of a team or multiple teams against a set of financial and operational objectives. >Ability to influence and negotiate with other senior leaders in light of their unique perspectives and competing priorities.
