Job Description
The Ford Champs Program provides students with hands-on, career-specific experience inside Ford of Mexico.

Responsibilities
Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Ford Champ are part of Ford Motor Company's North American Engineering organization and are co-located in the Vehicle Assembly Plant with the vehicle production team. The PVT Champ supports PVT Engineer as the 'first line of defense' regarding Functional system quality for the products produced at the assembly plant, supporting quality and manufacturing issues follow up and analysis.
What you'll do:
Launch - Support Preproduction meetings and supporting on AIMs follow up.
TVM support (ECN, trials, issue clean up)
Plant issues - support, process walk support
Lead GSAR Warranty binning and analysis (contact dealers, interface w FCSD), part return reviews (FAP02-053 7.1.7.2)
Assist QNPS/GQRS and JDP binning when requested. Dealer re contact and claims follow up.
Support Plant FTT improvements. Lead is Production/IE and VOME (None)
Chair and support Variability Reduction Team (VRT) meetings at the Plant.)
Support 6 Sigma project development and coordinate Plant input on all issues requiring deep dive analysis for resolution (FAP02-053 7.1.7.2)
Qualifications
Active student from any of the last 4 semesters of Engineering
90% English skills (Oral, reading, writing, and listening)
Excellent teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills.
