Location: Monterrey, Mexico
Environment: Hybrid (minimally 1 day/week in the office)
Work Schedule:
This position is full-time and hybrid, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM local or CST (flexible) with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage.

Purpose of Your Work:
As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and support of the IT Infrastructure of Redwood Logistics, primarily focused on our Azure estate. This role will work closely with our Software Engineers to ensure our cloud infrastructure remains stable and secure, while pursuing new technology and potential cost savings. The Azure Cloud Engineer performs all tasks associated with supporting the Windows Servers, Cloud infrastructure, and Networking including standardization, software distribution, break/fix troubleshooting, patching, and inventory. The role is part of a team and must participate in knowledge sharing sessions.

Bachelor's degree in discipline appropriate to assignment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Related certifications will be helpful. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience supporting an enterprise in a team environment.

- Create and maintain standards, designs, and automations in Azure
- Microsoft Azure and O365 support
- Azure infrastructure support
- Cross train on AWS infrastructure Support
- Develop and mature patching standards
- Develop and mature monitoring of all IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms
- Tier 2 and 3 Windows Server OS support (Server 2003, 2008, 2008R2, 2012, 2016)
- Create and maintain OS standards
- Automate server build and deployment processes
- Work with Microsoft and other vendors for issue escalation
- Maintain inventory of servers and hardware both in datacenter and the field
- Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure
- Operate as a subject matter expert and act as the escalation point for issue resolution and customer escalations
- Develop server monitoring standards
- Provide on call assistance and support of production business systems on a rotating basis for after-hours support

Bachelor's degree in discipline appropriate to assignment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Related certifications will be helpful. The candidate must have 5+ years of experience supporting an enterprise in a team environment.
- Bi-lingual in English/Spanish; B1 or B1+ level
- At least 2 years of experience in a Windows Server engineering role in a large organization
- Azure Administrator required, Azure Solutions Architect Expert a plus
- Experience with Active Directory infrastructure
- Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, VBScript)
- Knowledge of AWS and Azure environments
- Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS platforms
- Working knowledge of IaaC platforms
- Knowledge of networking concepts and practices, knowledge of Cisco and Meraki a plus
