BAT MEXICO IS LOOKING FOR A PRICING PERFORMANCE ANALYST
SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-management

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role will support projects intended to help achieve the Performance & Business Planning targets.
Work as a business partner for the US Performance Team, by providing key commercial insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the financial success and effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.
This role, along with the GM Pricing Strategy team, will manage pricing and promotion optimization, leading to account level analysis, such as predictive analytics and post implementation results, while working in a cross functional way with Trade, SP&I Brand Marketing and Finance. This role will support the Performance and Business Planning process; ensure activity design aligns with GM, retailer and trade marketing strategy and provide oversight to ensure quality of execution.
The analyst will help support the RAI brands and positioning strategies by leveraging big data and advanced analytics while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct analytics that will provide data insights to drive share growth and maximize the return on investment. Develop performance tools and measures to help identify opportunities and deliver recommended program optimizations at Retail.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Serve as an extension of the Performance/GM Team with an understanding of the business and how to enable sustainable net revenue growth.
- Execute business tracking metrics and reporting routines that will enable the Performance/GM team to generate key insights
- Understand strategies and initiatives that will accelerate revenue growth.Contributing to continually improving business performance by conducting analysis and developing insights to drive velocity and net revenue growth.
- Provide the gathering, preparation, validation and cleansing different sources of information.
- Assume a supporting role as part of the analytics team as it applies to data requirements, data validation, schematics quality, and overall merchandising plans for assigned projects.
- Effectively communicate data analysis to key stakeholders regardless of geographic and culture differences.
- Develop a deep understanding of pricing and promotion strategies, internal processes, and overall technical requirements.
- Work collaboratively with external/internal partners to align Performance metrics to Growth Management strategies and tactics for Tobacco and new categories (Total Oral focus).
- Work cross-functionally with several departments in execution of tests, rollouts, and resets.
- Play an active role as a member of Digital Business Solutions team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Finance/Business Administration, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of professional experience in revenue management, category management, pricing, promotions, customer planning, sales strategy, or strategic planning.
- Fluent in English (Advanced)
- Travel Visa required
- Proficiency using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, and the ability to quickly learn and use cloud-based third-party applications
- Comfortable interpreting and manipulating large amounts of data
- Time management as deliverables will adhere to strict deadlines
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, to have the appropriate level of interaction with stakeholders with required follow ups.
- Able to work with technical analysis such as regressions, clustering, classification, dimensionality reduction, collaborative filtering.
