The Role

Job Summary:
As a Senior Power BI Developer at Kyndryl , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions that empower decision-makers across the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to create interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports that drive data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and data visualization requirements.
• Design and develop Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models that meet business needs.
• Create interactive and visually appealing data visualizations using Power BI best practices.
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and report-related issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data quality and availability.
• Stay up-to-date with Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the Power BI development team.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance and security policies.

Who You Are

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M language.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
• Experience working with data from various sources (SQL databases, Excel, APIs, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Power BI certification is a plus.
