Job Description
This position reports directly to the IS Manager and is located in Tijuana, México.
Essential job functions:
• Manages physical and virtual servers to ensure uptime, performance, and security patches are applied in a timely manner.
• Provides support for all back-office infrastructure and various business applications. Works with Front Office team and users to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Install, support, and maintain desktop business applications (ensuring software license compliance).
• Install and maintain personal computers, printers and mobile devices.
• Handle Service Desk requests in a timely fashion. This includes effective escalation and triage of issues to appropriate Level 2 support personnel.
• Lead special projects.
• Create, update, and improve Service Desk knowledgebase articles.
• Maintain an inventory of computer hardware and software, including leasing information.
• Provide onboarding of new employees for the information technology needs.
• Support IT matters for 3 locations
Requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Technology with proven experience.
• Preferred candidate would have solid IT background.
• Requires knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be able to troubleshoot problems and communicate solutions to peers and internal customers; requires direct communication with high level executives.
• Bilingual English - Spanish
