Department Overview
Test Systems Engineering: Designs, builds, and deploys test solutions into our various global manufacturing sites. These solutions are used to program, tune, and test the company's product portfolio. This helps ensure that our products are performing per customer specifications. This process is accomplished by working closely with our product development engineering and manufacturing facilities.
Job Description

This position will work onsite from Guadalajara (Av Valdepeñas 1993 Col. Lomas de Zapopan). Candidates must reside in Guadalajara.

The Sr Staff Test Engineer will be responsible for:

• Analyze, design, develop and implement test hardware and software for production testing of new products by evaluating deadlines and goals.
• Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to resolve issues detected through testing and production line transferences among others.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve test Yields, reduce overall Test time, provide for test capacity increases, minimize downtime, and optimize test/process flows. This includes utilizing statistical tools.
• Identify technical problems, determine alternatives and evaluate them to arrive at the most acceptable approach considering complying with specifications, cost effectiveness, testability and reparability.
• Document and present technical reports (SW/HW) and participate as a team in technical programs.

Candidate Requirements:

• Able to work with minimum supervision and may coordinate the activities of other personnel.
• Radio Frequency knowledge is preferred.
• Hands-on and technical skills in troubleshooting test solutions.
• Familiarity with other languages are desirable (e.g. C#, Python, etc).
• Bilingual (English and Spanish).

Basic Requirements

• Education in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer or equivalent.
• 3+ years experience in similar positions.
• Experience programming knowledge with LabVIEW/Teststand.
• Experience knowledge of test systems hardware and software architecture.
