Job DescriptionWhat is ADB-S ?:Autonomous Database Serverless is Oracle's flagship Database Cloud offering in which Oracle automates all aspects of the infrastructure and database management for customers including provisioning, configuring, monitoring, backing up and tuning. Users simply select what type of database they want (Data Warehouse or Transaction Processing or JSON), which region in the Oracle Cloud they want the database deployed, and the base compute and storage resources. Oracle automatically takes care of everything else for them. Once provisioned, the database can be instantly scaled either through the UI, APIs, or automatically based on the customers workload fully online.
Key Responsibilities: - Test Development: Design and develop automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and SQL to validate functionality of Multi-cloud services
- Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, and define test scenarios
- Execution & Debugging: Execute automated and manual tests to identify bugs, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless deployment and continuous testing of ADB-S cloud service
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test results, and bug reports. Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of testing processes and outcomes
- Collaboration: Work with development, product manager and release management teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java programming language
- Experience with Selenium WebDriver for automated testing
- Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation
- Knowledge of Azure, GCP and OCI platforms is a plus
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of industry experience in software testing and test automation
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex product like ADB-S
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Adaptability: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies as the cloud landscape evolves
Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: Relevant certifications in Azure, GCP, OCI are a plus
- Tools & Technologies: Experience with additional test automation tools or frameworks is a plus.
