We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to work with various clients at our delivery center in Guadalajara, MX. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. As a DevOps Engineer, you will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• DevOps/Automation: Proficiency in automation tools, including GitHub Actions or other CI/CD pipelines.
• Application Deployment: While direct application deployment isn't handled, knowledge of how infrastructure interacts with deployments is essential, especially for troubleshooting policy issues that may affect deployments.
• Kubernetes and ArgoCD: Expertise in orchestrating deployments in containerized environments.

Technical Expertise:

• Policy Knowledge: Deep understanding of Azure Policy and its integration into automation pipelines.
• Networking: Expertise in setting up and managing network configurations such as ExpressRoute, VPNs, and virtual networks, ensuring solid networking security and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automation: Proficiency in automating cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, focusing on managing network and policy resources efficiently.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Emphasis on Cross-Functional Communication: Resources need to support each other's initiatives.
• Cross-Team Workflows: Senior resources might rotate between teams depending on project needs, providing expertise in areas like security and network automation.
• Knowledge Transfer (KT): Regular staff meetings every two weeks ensure alignment across different teams, which is crucial for keeping everyone on the same page, especially with tools and processes that span both infrastructure and application areas.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure and security policies.
• Strong background in network design and automation.
• Proficiency in automation tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
