Your role at Baxter
As a network analyst you are responsible for building a reliable network to support the business units and manufacturing. Work with the business to learn the strategic goals and operational needs that shape the network requirements. Plan the acquisition, configuration, installation, deployment and maintenance of the network components.
• Experience with planning, designing, or executing network hardware infrastructure installations.
• Implement and design LANs and VLANs and wireless networks.
• Knowledge and experience with MPLS and SDWAN Services

What you'll be doing
• Install, configure and maintain Local Area Network and Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN) and wireless infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment, including but not limited to: Cisco and Aruba/HPE routers, switches, access points, wireless controllers and F5 Load Balancers
• Experience with Cisco routing and switching technology.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and communications protocols
• Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting for Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls
• Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues
• Knowledge of configuring wireless and VPN technology
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst 9300, 4500, 9400; Nexus 3K, 5K, 7K and 9K; ISR4400 and ASR1000
• Familiarity with Cat 6 and fiber optic cabling for network communications capabilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Configure Direct Internet Access and MPLS services for WAN edge routers.
• Troubleshoot BGP routing technology.
• Ability to develop and write network documentation. Produce network drawings (Visio)
• Create process and follow existing process, best practices, SOPs, compliance and training requirements. This includes following and using Baxter's Remedy change control as well as manage tickets on this platform to ensure effective fault communications and awareness.
What you'll bring
• 1-3 years of network operational experience
• Cisco CCNA Security certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field preferred or relevant work experience.
