I. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manage the operations of automated chemical processing lines.
2. Manage the operations of DI water system, water recycling system, and wastewater treatment and discharge system to ensure compliance with government regulations.
3. Create, implement, and control the programs, data input, and output reports of automated chemical processing lines.
4. Conduct continuous maintenance analysis of solutions by spectrographic and wet methods to comply with applicable standards and specifications.
5. Conduct periodic maintenance analysis of purity and hardness of metal in plating tanks to comply with applicable standards and specifications.
6. Monitor the execution of chemical replacements or additions driven from analysis of solutions.
7. Develop and implement statistical process control and monitoring of key parameters.
8. Ensure calibration of production and testing equipment is correct and current.
9. Manage inventory of chemicals and chemical testing supplies. of incoming chemicals and develop procedures for waste treatment of solution and chemicals.
10. Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions pertaining to plating and cleaning defects.
11. Review and analyze throughput, costs, and delivery and then suggest improvements on technology, equipment, settings, set-up, operations, techniques, methods, suppliers, formulations, handling, storage, etc.
12. Train and supervise technicians, platers, and operators.
13. Perform other duties as required by management.

II. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have technical knowledge and work experience in plating setting and operations.
• Must have Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry or related field.
• Must have working knowledge in Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Must have working knowledge in SPC, FEMA and Control Plans.
• Must have working knowledge in software for documentation, data analysis, storage, and reporting.
• Must have the ability to work in an active production environment, with minimal supervision.
• Prefer to have technical knowledge and work experience in DI water generation systems, recycling water systems, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Prefer to have technical knowledge and work experience in air/gas purifying systems, room ventilation systems, scrubbers, and mist eliminators,
• Prefer to have technical knowledge and work experience in spectrographic and wet methods of plating and cleaning solutions.
• Prefer to have technical knowledge and work experience in Atomic Absorption Analysis (AAA).
• Prefer to have working knowledge of government environmental regulations.
