QA Englineer (Intermediate role)

Main skills:

- Between 3 - 5 years of experience woking as QA enginner.

- The last 2-3 years exp in Web/ Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver / Appium with C#/ Javascript.

- Experience with AI (Cursor, Github copilot tools)

- Experience working with test management tools, test automation tools, test approach (BDD/TDD)

- Testing and automation best practices.

- Microsoft SQL Server and querying of databases.

- Knowledge of continuous integration tools like GitHub/ Jenkins.

- Understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools

- Proven experience in functional, regression and cross-browser testing.

- How to set up and run the tests for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari).

Job description:

Experience in Web/ Mobile testing using Selenium Web Driver / Appium with C#/ Java / Javascript.
Design, implementation, and delivery of scalable, maintainable, configurable and robust test automation frameworks.
Ability to analyze and translate requirements and development stories into test scripts to ensure complete test coverage.
Should have strong knowledge of continuous integration tools like GitHub/ Jenkins.
Should have experience in mobile testing and setting up automation frameworks for this.
Strong understanding of testing and automation best practices. Proven experience in functional, regression and cross-browser testing.
Ability to see to completion the entire testing process from data validation to front end GUI using a combination of SQL, manual, and automation testing techniques.
Thorough understanding of the defect life-cycle process and industry standard defect tracking tools.
Should have knowledge on how to set up and run the tests for multiple browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari).
Knowledge of SQL and querying of databases.
Knowledge in codeless automation tools like TestIM/ Tosca will be added advantage.
Knowledge of working in Banking and Financial services industry will be added advantage.
Excellent communication skills, proactive and flexible to work on multiple projects.
Experience working with test management tools, test automation tools, test approach (BDD/TDD)
Willingness to learn new technologies, approaches, and test tools
Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.

English Level: advanced/conversational

Location: Mexico (any state as it is a HomeOffice role)
