In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and developers to ensure data from multiple disparate sources—both structured and unstructured—is efficiently integrated, prepared, and transformed into our modern data warehouse. You will also participate in analysis and light project management activities to ensure delivery and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft SQL and DataBricks.
- Integrate and transform structured and unstructured data from various sources into a centralized data warehouse.
- Develop and optimize data models and reports in Power BI to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric and Synapse to manage data flows and lakehouse architecture.
- Utilize Spark and machine learning concepts to develop intelligent data processes.
- Experiment with and implement LLM-based data enrichment or insight extraction as needed.
- Contribute to data governance, data quality, and documentation standards.
- Support project planning, coordination, and communication within cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, or related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft SQL, DataBricks (or equivalent), Power BI, and data pipeline design.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Synapse Analytics, Apache Spark, machine learning concepts, and LLMs.
- Demonstrated success in building and transforming data warehouses and integrating diverse data sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in hybrid teams.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project coordination.
- Professional level bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish
