Sr Manager Facilities, EHS, Security

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for maintaining all aspects of Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety (EHS), Facilities and Loss Prevention Services to create and ensure a culture and systems that supports Sanmina policies.

Nature of Duties:

Responsible for the first impressions of the site/location.

Provides effective leadership, direction and coaching to direct and indirect reports including.

Acts as Safety Champion to positively reinforce and communicate safety awareness and behaviors in all areas.

In addition, this position manages: vendor and authorities relationships, scheduling facility repairs, overseeing the HVAC system, UPS, Generators and Fire System, non-critical production machine maintenance, renovation projects, and facility site plans

Excellent analytical and organization skills.

Provides hands-on, comprehensive, site-wide review, guidance and program support for all safety programs, electrical, ergonomics, personal protective equipment, hazard communication, machine guarding, and environmental programs as well as security awareness and prevention programs.

Maintains budget for plant-wide items.

Conduct hazard assessments, inspections, and evaluations of all aspects of the facility - from critical life safety and mechanical systems to details of cleanliness.

Oversee occupational health, safety, and environmental issues, injury claims andinjury recording/reporting.

Conduct safety inspections.

Conduct required training and ensure compliance with current versions of ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and Federal, State andlocal laws and regulations.

Oversee permits are valid.

Provide expertise and oversight relative to the handling, storage, and shipping of hazardous materials.

Ensures compliance of C-TPAT, NEEC/OEA and others Security regulations.

Project Management skills, ability to handle multiple projects efficiently.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking skills.

Must be able to work independently.

Ability to work during shutdowns.

Education and Experience :

• Minimum Education Bachelors in Chemical Engineering , Industrial Engineering

Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• 10-12 years experience in manufacturing environment.
