• Approve and coordinate air and ocean shipments of raw materials from Guadalajara to the different DC in Mexico

• Find and identify freight cost maximization and opportunities to reduce/avoid extra costs.

• Supervise and approve invoices

• Develop and implement automated reports to track and trace SB & NB shipments

• Supervise staff responsible in maintaining and tracking shipments

• Provide guidance on all standard operations, logistics processes and SOPs

• Tackle complex problems related to logistics

• People management responsibility for pay reviews, performance management and resource planning.

• Monitoring staff activities and performance at your own burden

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics & Transportation or similar or Industrial and Systems Engineer

• Intermediate to Advance computer skills with Microsoft Office and Databases Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)

• Knowledge of standardized rules, procedures, and operations, within a specialized field/work area

• In-depth experience in a technical field

• Proactive attitude

• Strong communication (oral, written, listening) skills

• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change

• Excellent organization skills

• Fluent bilingual (Spanish & English)
