Immediate availability is required, the project is for 1 to 3 months with the possibility of extending, the candidate can be based anywhere in the country but with availability to travel or even eradicate the time of the project in Cd Obregón.
?Direct sourcing specialist
The direct sourcing specialist is in charge of his supplier portfolio with the permanent target to supply goods with the best Cost, Quality and on time delivery performance compromise in order to contribute to current and future Radiall profitability and to meet his internal customer expectations. He/She has the ownership of the overall supplier relationship management.
Main expectations:
- Contributes to the definition of Sourcing strategy on its portfolio taking into account existing and future needs, while considering following constraints such as: cost reduction and supplier performances enhancement (quality and on time delivery)
- In charge to deploy decided strategy within his scope and to manage internal communication accordingly
- Negotiation and deployment of Frame Agreement with main suppliers and validation of applicable purchasing conditions (price, incoterm, payment term…)
- Update ERP with last applicable conditions
- Develop partnership with Radiall “strategic” suppliers
- Define action plans and drive project accordingly to secure cost reduction plan and strategy deployment
- Reporting: regular analysis of purchasing price evolution on its portfolio. Action plan definition to tackle price increases
- Accountable for sourcing results on his/her scope
- Supplier prospection
- Initiate request for quotation with targeted supplier panel and select supplier drive transfer and make or buy projects on his commodities
REQUIREMENTS
- First significant experience (5-8 years) in Sourcing activity (direct purchase) in an international industrial environment
- Good knowledge of overall “Procure to Pay” process
- Technical purchases
- Project management
- Supplier relationship management
- Engineering degree (mechanical).
- MBA is a plus
- Spanish and English (C1 level min) are a must. French is a plus
- Good knowledge of industrial environment and constraints.
- SAP (MM Module)
- Ability to make decision
- Leadership : ability to lead and drive projects.
