Job Description- Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems, including general ledger journal entries for fixed asset.
- Performs period account reconciliations and analysis of the fixed asset accounts, including fixed asset roll forwards
- Prepares periodic reports and related analysis for internal and external customers and external financial audits
- Performs research for inventory and audit questions.
- Prepares reports for the Tax Department
- Coordinates regularly with the Tax Department to ensure accurate reporting
- Scanning of accounting documentation
- Provides a high level of customer service to internal and external customers.
- Creates and maintains procedure documentation
- Performs other special projects or tasks as assigned
- Handles confidential information as needed
- Maintains detailed work volume in a highly organized manner
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 2 years experience in Accounting.
- Experience with MS Office programs, particularly Excel, and fundamental understanding of accounting systems.
- Ability to work with a high degree of detail and able manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
