Job Summary:
Callaway Golf Company is seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a focus on manufacturing processes to join our team. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in SAP, Power BI, and Excel to analyze and interpret complex data, driving insights and improvements in our manufacturing operations. With a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a strong command of English, this role is essential for enhancing our production efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights into manufacturing performance.
- SAP Management:
- Manage and update production data within SAP to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Utilize SAP for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to data.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement process enhancements.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present detailed analytical reports and recommendations to various levels of the organization.
- Ensure clear and effective communication of data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Project Support:
- Provide analytical support for special projects and initiatives within the manufacturing department.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency.
Authority to Act:
- Authority to access and manage data within SAP and other relevant systems.
- Authority to recommend process improvements and changes based on data analysis.
- Authority to present findings and make recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and key performance metrics.
- Proficiency in SAP, Power BI, and advanced Excel functions.
- Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex data sets.
- Effective report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Abilities:
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education and/or Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within a manufacturing environment, including hands-on experience with SAP, Power BI, and Excel.
