AWL Automation was founded in 2016 and established in Querétaro, Mexico. We have a strong ambition to further grow in the Mexican market for the upcoming years. We expect to expand with the automotive and metal processing industry to fulfill the needs for automated welding machines solutions. Nowadays we employ a young and growing team of approximately 60 employees and we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Team Leader who wants to be part of our growing team to shape the future!
What are you going to do?
Supervises the quality, costs and efficiency of logistics processes;
Validates the proper execution of purchasing procedures established by AWL, both for projects,
non-projects and emergencies;
Responsible of supplier development and manages the relationship evaluation and documentation of it
Provides information on supply reliability, costs and performance evaluation;
Analyses logistical problems, solves them and coordinates improvements.
Informs the Operations Manager the progress of work tasks, cost savings and correctives actions
Maintains adequate communication and collaboration with those responsible for other departments, such as Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Team Leaders and Service Representative
Ensures the correct operation of foreign trade according to the criteria defined in each project and maintains the foreign trade file in compliance with all current legal regulations;
Supervises adequate inventory control, ensuring cyclical and general counts.
Responsible of controlling the exit and entry of company assets.
What do you bring with you?
A Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or International Trade, or similar.
At least 3 years of work experience in a similar position;
Experience in automotive industry
Excellent ability to work analytically and problems solving;
Oriented to solutions
Fluent English level (written and spoken).
