After Sales-Technical Service Engineer for DCM


Job requirements:

Education:


College or bachelor degree.

  • Major in mechanical manufacturing, electric engineering, automation or plastic material or equal;
  • Other education background but more than 5 years' experience in Die Casting and Injection Molding Machine design and, after-sales service or maintenance.


Duties;

Daily work:


  • Participate in various trainings organized by technical service department to improve technical ability and comprehensive service ability.
  • Responsible for the plan suggestion or formulation of subsidiary stock spare parts.
  • lSubmit the summary of machine quality problems in the responsible area and put forward suggestions for machine quality improvement.
  • Responsible for assisting other colleagues of the subsidiary to complete the on-site inventory of spare parts warehouse of the subsidiary.
  • Follow all company and customer safety policies.
  • Install, repair, and maintain Die Casting Machinery, linear robot, hopper dryer, auto-load, chiller, and related software, and control systems.
  • Perform all safety checks on the equipment.
  • Follow all of the company's procedures.
  • Demonstrate the use of the equipment, and provide customer training.
  • Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues (Define service problem, collect data, establish facts, drawvalid conclusions) and perform root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Document findings and actions.
  • Order replacement parts as required and document other worn parts which may need replaced in the future.
  • Respond quickly to customer problems via phone, email, or onsite in a prompt, courteous and professional way.
  • Provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site service to customers.
  • Provide written reports on all service calls, making sure to document key contacts, and the workload of the machines.
  • Provide after-sales service and technical training for customers and agents, including but not limited to equipment safety, operation, maintenance, plastic raw materials and molding process training.
  • Translate service files into local languages if necessary.
  • Follow all company and customer safety policies.
  • Install, repair, and maintain Die Casting, Injection Molding, related software, and control systems.
  • Perform all safety checks on the equipment.
  • Give training to customer on usage of the equipment.
  • Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues (Define service problem, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions) and reason analysis. Document findings and actions.
  • Order replacement parts as required and document other worn parts which may need replaced in the future.
  • Ensure machines are properly calibrated even if that is not the purpose of the call.
  • Respond quickly to customer problems via phone, email, or onsite in a prompt, courteous and professional way.
  • Make maintenance and operation recommendations to customers.
  • Provide written reports on all service calls, making sure to document key contacts, and the workload of the machines.
  • Ensure maintenance records by serial number and customer are maintained current.


Background:


  • 1 to 5 years service work or technical support work experience in Die Casting and/or Injection Molding Machine industry or related industry.
  • Specialized knowledge.

 

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Extensive knowledge in the trouble shooting and repairing of Die Casting machines, covering all aspects including controls, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Ability to use computers, email systems, basic Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Ability to understand mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematic.


Abilities:


  • Ability to handle repairing and maintenance work on site.
  • Have a strong safety awareness and protect yourself and others.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication ability to work with customers, company employees, and suppliers.
  • Can work independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight, including international travel.


Key Performance Indicators(KPI):


  • A monthly machine problem summary and quality improvement suggestion.
  • Machine installation and commissioning report and problem follow.
  • Make machine inspection for our customer as requirement.
  • One time completion rate.
  • Customer training work.
  • Customer satisfaction rate.
