Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with knowledge in food processing equipment (i. e. heat exchanger, pressure transmitter, homogenizer, valves, pumps, electric diagrams reading, DTI) and/or packaging equipment (i. e. fillers, distribution equipment) that under supervision, will execute installation tasks and preventive maintenance tasks of less complex nature.

Available vacancies in Aguascalientes & Tijuana.

You will be travelling 90% of your time to our customer sites.


What you will do

 

As a Maintenance Engineer you will: 

 



  • Participate in preparing customer site for installation and commissioning events of packaging equipment.
  • Participate in execution of preventive maintenance activities for packaging equipment.
  • Inform relevant Tetra Pak staff in a timely manner about discovered Technical Issues.
  • Participate in the installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits.
  • Inform relevant Tetra Pak Field Staff about ongoing service activities as well as of any issues affecting the customer or the quality of Tetra Pak service.
  • Act as an ambassador for Tetra Pak at all times, ensuring good working relationships with the customer and Tetra Pak colleagues and that Tetra Pak's reputation is sustained.
  • Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak and Customer safety regulations and requirements. Execute all work in accordance with Tetra Pak standards and requirements regarding product quality and food safety. Escalate all discovered food safety, quality assurance and regulatory issues.
  • Comply with all reporting requirements.


We believe you have





  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, control & automation engineering or similar.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in Installations, maintenance and/or repair work. 
  • Experience in electric, hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance is strongly desired.
  • Advance / Fluent in English proficiency is mandatory.
  • Strong PLC Programming Knowledge
  • Passion to be a team player and ability to work across boundaries.
  • Fast learning abilities.
  • Structured thinking and quick problem solving.
  • Focus on the results.
  • Customer focus oriented.
  • Availability to travel (this could happen on weekends too)
